The latest senior moves, appointments and other personnel changes in the North American wealth management sector.
IEQ Capital
IEQ Capital, a registered investment advisor that manages
about $41.7 billion in regulatory assets under management, has
appointed Lauren Garner (main picture) as a managing
director.
Based in Los Angeles, Garner will serve ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
Garner, who has more than two decadesβ sector experience, was most recently chief investment officer of Mozaic, a $4 billion multi-family office.
"Her experience as both a direct investor and allocator across asset classes aligns strongly with our platform and client philosophy. Lauren's leadership and perspective will be a tremendous asset as we continue to deepen our presence in Southern California,β Frank McFarland, founding partner, said.
Prior to Mozaic, Garner served in senior roles at Pritzker Group and Perella Weinberg Partners Agility, advising family office and endowment and foundation clients on asset allocation and investment selection. Earlier in her career, she worked at GoldenTree Asset Management and Tudor Investment Corporation.
IEQ Capital was founded in 2019.

has welcomed financial advisor Robert Chanin to its employee
advisor channel.
Chanin, who was based in Macon, Georgia, provides clients with wealth management, specializing in high net worth clients. He has arrived from Stifel, where he previously managed about $750 million in client assets.
Chanin began his career in 1979, bringing over 45 years of industry experience to his role as managing director.
